In todays's world we are surrounded every day by images, language and attitudes that tell us we must look a certain way in order to have value. Am I Pretty? aims to break down these messages and give children the confidence to be happy in themselves by encouraging philosophical discussion of these issues. Rahima grew up loving Art and Design and her belated father always encouraged this path which lead to her achieving an A+ grade. She studied philosophy at university which rooted her firmly on thinking about moral and ethical issues.
